South Mumbai-based contemporary Indian art gallery Project88 is unveiling a virtual gallery and viewing room on March 11 with a new exhibition titled ‘Not an Imitation.’ This digital show is curated by artists Rohini Devasher and Pallavi Paul. Viewers will be able to navigate artworks in three dimensions, utilising a virtual reality platform on the gallery’s website. The exhibition’s aim is to offer a collective outlet to artists, to express feelings of disruption and hope, loss and possibility, grief and new beginnings as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
