In “If Nothing Else, Just A Smile”, artist Neha Choksi inserts the smiley face into the unlikeliest of places, scratching them into digital photographs of tree trunks at the Inglewood Cemetary in Los Angeles. “It’s really about my own desire to find meaning in things, to make fun of my own impulse to find that meaning,” says Choksi who lives in LA and Mumbai.
