Beyond the Self

Tejal Shah is participating in Beyond the Self, with her 2004-05 video, Trans-. The work is created in collaboration with Marco Paulo Rolla. Curated by Christine Clark, Beyond the Self, is an exhibition that looks at the representation of the self in current South and Southeast Asian art practice. The show features artists from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines and Thailand. It will travel to McClelland Gallery and Sculpture Garden, Langwarrin, Victoria (12 May – 22 July 2012), the Anne and Gordon Samstag Museum of Art, Adelaide (2 August – 5 October 2012), MAGNT, Darwin (24 November 2012 – 4 February 2013).
